Put an athlete on an individual plan

An athlete gets injured, comes back from illness, or needs a different week. You change their days, and the rest of the team is untouched.

Read Branches and merging back for the model behind this page.

  1. Open Plan.
  2. Set the Viewing picker to that athlete.
  3. Select the day.
  4. Edit it, or place something else on it.

The day is now theirs. Every day you did not touch still follows the team plan.

The drawer tells you which plan the day belongs to before you change it. A day that still follows the team says so.

  1. Set Viewing to that athlete.
  2. Open the day.
  3. Select Revert to team plan, then confirm.

The athlete’s own version is removed, and the day follows the team plan again.

For an injury or a return-to-play block, create the branch yourself. It gets a name, a colour and a date range, and the timeline draws it.

  1. On the season page, select New branch.
  2. Pick the athlete.
  3. Set the start date, and the end date if you know it.
  4. Name it, for example “Hamstring, return to play”.

If you already changed some of those days for that athlete, those changes move onto the new branch. They become the starting point of the episode.

For a holiday, exam week or work travel, use Mark unavailable on the season page instead.

  1. Select Mark unavailable.
  2. Pick the athlete and the dates.
  3. Add a reason, for example “family holiday”.

StrideUp writes an empty branch over those days. The athlete’s plan reads as rest for that period, and it merges back on their return.

When the athlete rejoins the team plan, merge the branch. From that date they follow the team plan again.

A branch with workouts on it can only be merged, never removed. The training that happened stays on the plan.

Everything on this page works with a training group in the Viewing picker, and New branch takes a group as well.

Use it when one group needs a different Thursday, or a different peak.
