The calendar and who you are viewing

The calendar is the coach’s main planning surface. It is a month board, and each day shows every session that happens on that day.

The Viewing picker decides whose plan you see.

Viewing What you see
Everyone The team plan plus every group and athlete deviation.
Whole team The team plan alone.
A group What that group does, after its deviations are applied.
An athlete What that athlete does, after group and athlete deviations are applied.

Everyone is the default, so a day shows you everything that happens on it.

When you edit a day while viewing a group or an athlete, the change applies to that group or athlete alone. StrideUp splits that day off the team plan for you.

You never pick a branch and you never manage one. StrideUp handles that part.

While viewing Everyone you cannot edit that view itself. An empty day opens as the team’s plan, and a session you select opens as its own plan.

State Meaning
Planned A workout sits on the day.
Unplanned Nothing is planned yet. The athlete sees an empty day.
Rest You prescribed rest. The athlete sees a rest day.

Month is the overview. Sessions render as pills, with the audience on the right, and a count of the rest when a day has more sessions than fit.

Week shows the full detail of each day.

Timeline shows the shape of the season: the cycles, and who branched off and when they merged back.
