Report a session

After a session you tell your coach how it went. It takes about ten seconds.

The check-in says how you are in the morning. The session report says how the work actually landed.

  1. Open the Today tab.
  2. Find the session under To do and select it.
  3. Pick what happened.
  4. If you completed it, drag the slider to how hard it felt.
  5. If you did not, pick what got in the way.
  6. Add a note if something needs words.
  7. Select Save report.
You pick It means
Completed You did the session
Cut short You started and stopped early
Missed You were not there

A meet uses the same three words. You do not train a race, so the wording stays neutral.

The effort slider runs from 1 · Very easy to 10 · All out.

This scale runs the opposite way to the check-in. On the check-in a high number is good. On effort a high number means the session was hard, which is what coaches mean by RPE.

Effort is only asked for a completed session. There is nothing to rate on a session you did not do.

Cut short and Missed ask for a reason: illness, injury, travel, school or work, or something else.

Your coach sees the reason on their dashboard. It is the difference between an athlete who is hurt and one who had an exam.

The session shows up in To do an hour after it was due to start, so nothing asks you mid warm-up.

You have three days to file it. After that the day closes.

You can change a report until the end of the day you filed it. After midnight it is locked in.

If you need to correct one after that, tell your coach.

If you have sessions waiting, the app nudges you once at 10:00 the next morning.

It is one notification however many sessions are waiting, and it is separate from the check-in reminder. See Reminders and language.
